The regular meeting of the Sherwood Lakes Homeowners Association was held on last 15th of September, this year. The meeting was chaired by HOA President Jones, with members present of homeowners in participation.

Upon the call to order, the transcripts from the previous meeting were examined and approved with a few amendments.

  • Treasurer Miller, gave a concise financial report outlining the current status of the homeowner association's funds.
  • Several homeowners raised concerns regarding recent developments in the neighborhood, such as the proposed playground construction and streetlight improvement projects.
  • Association members addressed the homeowner's queries, providing clarifications about the plans.

Following the dialogue, the meeting was adjourned. The next HOA meeting is scheduled for October , at a later date.

Considered Amendments to Sherwood Lakes Covenants

The HOA is currently discussing several proposed amendments to the existing covenants for Sherwood Lakes. These proposed adjustments are designed to strengthen the standard of life for all residents while tackling current concerns and encouraging a thriving community.

  • Within the proposed amendments are guidelines related to exterior aesthetics, noise ordinances, and automobile limits.
  • The HOA encourages all residents to study the proposed amendments carefully and provide their suggestions by August 15th.
  • A community forum will be arranged on September 8th to discuss the proposed amendments in greater detail.

More information regarding the proposed amendments can be obtained on the HOA's digital portal. Residents are urged to engage in this important process.

Sherwood Lakes Community Beautification Project

Our enthusiastic community members are coming together to make Sherwood Lakes a more picturesque place to live. The Beautification Project aims to enhance the visual appeal of our community by installing shrubs, cleaning up public spaces, and supporting a sense of belonging.

We're consistently working on various projects, including the revitalization of our lakefront area. We invite you to contribute in making Sherwood Lakes a truly beautiful place to call home.

Sherwood Lakes HOA Board Election Updates

Greetings residents of Sherwood Lakes! The annual election for the Homeowner’s Association website (HOA) board is happening soon. This year, we encourage all homeowners to participate in shaping the future of our community by casting their vote.

The election will be held on Wednesday, October 25th, with voting taking place from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Neighborhood Clubhouse.

A list of those vying for positions and their platforms will be made available on the HOA website and distributed via email/sent to residents in a packet by October 15th. For any questions or concerns regarding the election process, please send an email to the HOA. We look forward to a successful and democratic election!

Community Security Project for Sherwood Lakes Residents

Enhance the safety and security of our thriving community with a dedicated Neighborhood Watch program. Via unitedly participating, residents can help deter crime, look out one another's belongings, and foster a safer sense of community. Sessions will be held regularly to coordinate efforts.
